CSIRO creates two new leadership positions

CSIRO has recently created two new leadership positions, which see Ilona Charles appointed to the role of Executive Director, People, and Nigel Warren becoming the new Executive Director, Growth.

Both Ilona and Nigel have held key executive positions across a range of industries, bringing with them a wealth of experience that will be invaluable to CSIRO going forward.

CSIRO chief executive Dr Larry Marshall said the appointments would strengthen the way the CSIRO used innovative science and technology to solve the challenges of the future.

“Our solutions from science have the most impact when we collaborate with partners in industry, research, government and the community,” Marshall said.
