Rivka Garson joins Source Separation Systems
Rivka Garson has joined Source Separation Systems as head of business development. Garson has spent much of her career at the forefront of the bioplastics industry. A passionate and active advocate for Australian Certified compostable products, Garson sits on the Australian Bioplastics Association’s (ABA) PR Committee and is a member of the Australasian Organics Recycling Association (AORA) Victorian Executive team.
Garson’s experience and expertise, coupled with her passion for organics diversion makes this partnership a unique opportunity to build on Source Separation Systems strength as one of the market leaders in this space.
Source Separation Systems supports the industry as FOGO, and the use of Australian-certified compostable products. Councils, communities, and businesses alike are all recognising the sustainability benefits of swapping petrochemical plastics for an Australian Certified compostable alternative as Australia’s organics processing capacity continues to expand.
The company was one of the first to introduce a bioplastics alternative to the Australian market, and since then the company has partnered with a number of communities to roll out FOGO programs, as well as building a range of stockist for their Compost-A-Pak bags.
It is anticipated that Garson’s appointment to the role within will enable the company to strengthen its relationship with existing customers and further expand the market as Australians continue to embrace Australian Certified Compostable alternatives and Food Organics processing.
